Kirtan is an ancient yogic practice, combining mantra, music, meditation and heart, which can offer us a taste of this Samadhi through sound.
Through a "call and response" form of singing Mantra (Chants) the mind can focus and the heart can be expressed. It is a great way to connect with others and is one of the few methods we have to sing together. You don't even have to be a great singer! Kirtan is a yogic practice for the upliftment of everyone and we get to share this around the warm, mesmerising glow of the campfire. |

Traditional Tantric Yoga
Moon practice is the foundation & guidance that leads us towards Sun practice, grounding elements are enforced using the breath with deeper holds emphasising on stilling the mind with longer exhalations. The essence of Moon practice is the relationship with the breath & with the movement of the breath developing conscious awareness of prana. The guidance in Moon is to go beyond the physical realms of strength & flexibility with the breath. |

Traditional Tantric Yoga
Sun practice, we use Asana as a tool that we sharpen with movement that goes beyond movement. Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra, Mantra & Meditation are added to consciously develop a deeper relationship to Prana, life force within. The ocean contains the swell within the ocean, the swell rises, generating waves, as the waves then move to shore. The body is a vessel similar to that of the vast ocean, full of energy. In Sun practice we raise our energy generating waves of Prana that move like the waves of the ocean. The true aim is to consciously move to the higher self, the source, PURE LOVE. |
