Steffi GlasenappYoga teacher, Transformational Coach and Bodyworker.
With a background in dance & teaching yoga, Steffi discovered Acroyoga in 2009. Being amongst the first certified in AcroYoga, she's a senior teacher in Australia. With a decade of teaching workshops, classes & AcroYoga immersions, Steffi has supported people of all ages, sizes & body shapes in flying & taking the leap. Technical ninja, super passionate about making Acroyoga accessible for everyone, anything complex she brakes down into intelligent buildings blocks. Julia Gusman
Julia has been playing in AcroYoga since 2011, and teaching since 2014.
As an experienced yogi, teacher and laughter yoga leader, she is passionate about all things fun. With a corporate background, Julia believes finding space to accommodate play is vital in our busy lives. To Julia, AcroYoga is about communication and human connection. Shantell Shakti
Bliss Body Activist, Dakini, Breathworker, Healer, Medicine Woman, Weaver & Sacred Feminine Arts Mentor.
Shantell was initiated into "energy healing" at age 10. Her life path has guided her to work holistically with the physical/emotional body, psychology and sexuality. Breath, sound movement and healing touch are vital keys in her work with people. She loves to create a sacred, loving, safe space for people to transform from one way of being, to another. Garry Luke
Garry is an original member of the Sound Samadhi Kirtan group that plays regularly around Sydney (last Saturday of the month in Brookvale).
As a musician playing bass guitar, acoustic guitar and percussion, he has performed with many Kirtanists over the last 15 years, i.e. Edo Kahn (Edo and Jo), Geeti and Gyan, Vanessa and Steve (Heartsounds), Kevin James and more. He also records and produces his own music. We are in for a treat on Saturday night. |
Bruce Scott
Bruce has 25 years of practice in Massage, Martial Arts, Movement and Acroyoga.
His ability to combine the essence of these modalities into a seamless bodywork experience is world class. He has developed a finely tuned ability to sense where a person’s body is at, see the potential of where it could be & dissolve whatever is in the way. Rowan Classen
Rowan completed a number of massage course upon leaving high school.
At "Confest" years later he met Geoff Fisher, considered one the best physiotherapists in the world, & he learnt a technique called Continuous Synovial Joint Mobilisation Technique. During our Kula Yoga Festival, he is happy to teach this technique to others while he performs it. Rowan is also the vision holder & creator of White Gums Community; a fairy tale, spiritual community, festival site & retreat center. |
Chris AlleaumeChris started yoga practice through a necessity to heal his body after many sporting injuries. Falling in love with the depth of the practice & the many benefits he received, he smoothly transitioned into teaching an array of styles ranging from a strong conscious flow to mindful static classes.
With over 1000hrs of training under his belt, yoga practice keeps him free of old injury pains & allows quality & range of movement with a new level of body awareness & inner strength. Matt Hay
With a passion for surfing & the ocean Matt spends a lot of time in &
around the water. After a severe surfing accident that changed everything, he went to his first yoga class, “I was hooked, physically I healed & became stronger within months, but over time my attitude towards myself & life changed around me”. Matt says, “Yoga is a movement beyond movement itself, we sense an inner calling to go deeper, deeper into our own practice, to practice, not harder but with more grace & intelligence, to feel more then body sensations”. “Yoga is a dance that leads us deeper into the truth, the true nature of being, pure LOVE”. Zoe is one of the first generation Sydney Acroyoga International teachers (under Stef Glasenapp), holding certification in countless yoga and healing modalities, runs & performs in her successful entertainment business, & has over 20 years experience in the yoga & entertainment industries.
She has worked extensively in local & international communities as well as numerous events & a couple of retreats, including Byron & Sydney Spirit Festivals, Splendour in the Grass, Bondi Yoga Festival, Circus Arts (Byron), Subsonic Music Festival (Byron), Evolve (Byron) Petes Ridge Festival, Lost Paradise, Yoga Aid (Sydney), True Nature Convention (Japan) Ekam Yoga Festival (Port Macquarie) & has been teaching regular acroyoga weekly classes on the central coast for the last 7 years. |
Ah Ra
Ah Ra is a Kemetic Yoga teacher, Director of Roots Yoga and Ancient Vibrations festival.
Along with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ah Ra is a musician, poet, dancer, producer and is of the indigenous Xan people of South Africa mentored as a traditional herbalist. As a movement artist of Capoeira Angola he has contributed to events throughout Asia Pacific, Australia and South Africa. As a youth social educator, Ah Ra works specifically with indigenous, multicultural and refugee youth, he is both skilled and community focused. Ah Ra will be bringing us Kemetic Yoga on Sunday.
